Position Summary:

This part-time (7:00am-11:00am M-F) position is responsible for the physical condition, building maintenance management and customer service interaction with the single agency tenant, and contractors. The Facility Manager handles minor on-site maintenance needs to include plumbing, lighting, filters and other basic maintenance tasks as well as the grounds including mowing, and litter pickup as necessary. Manager oversees and/or supervises snow removal and landscaping. Manager serves as the point of contact for off-hours facility emergencies working directly with HPS Security and HPS Maintenance on-call to coordinate response on property including providing building access and assisting with messaging to tenants.
Key duties/responsibilities of Facility Manager:
1. Coordinate response to emergency requests for facility and equipment repairs
2. Ensure maintenance of all mechanical related infrastructure; performs required tests and keeps required logs if required
3. Ensure tools and equipment are properly organized and stored
4. Track facility work projects both unfinished and completed
5. Maintain orders and picks up the appropriate supplies needed for repairs and renovations
6. Oversee contractor repairs as needed
7. Inspect common area restrooms as needed and ensure all are in working order
8. Perform regular outdoor maintenance including mowing and litter pickup
9. Perform minor appliance, equipment and facility repairs as needed
10. Ensure all maintenance work areas are clean and organized
11. Ensure that buildings are kept clean and maintained, both interior and exterior
12. Ensure carpets and tile floors are properly maintained
13. Orders supplies and ensures that supply closets are stocked
14. Oversee painting, remodeling, and building repairs
15. Maintain a property list of tools and equipment

Qualifications Requirements:


High School Diploma or GED equivalency required


4+ years’ experience with building maintenance or construction or custodial supervision or experience which provides a similar skill set

Previous property management experience a plus

Licenses or Certificates:

Valid Driver’s License
