Effective April 1, 2026, the Harrisburg Area YMCA has leased and will manage the former “Fit On Market” fitness facility at 312 Market Street in Strawberry Square. This 3,420 square-foot boutique fitness center has been operational since Fall of 2020 and will now be part of the extensive regional Harrisburg Area YMCA network which includes facilities in Harrisburg (Downtown and Uptown), Lower Paxton Township, Camp Hill, and Elizabethville.
This new addition to the YMCA allows members access even when Strawberry Square is not open. Free on-street parking is available weekdays before 8:00am and after 5:00pm, and all day on Sundays. Shower facilities and short-term lockers are available to all members.
“We welcome the Harrisburg Area YMCA as our new tenant here to bring its respected brand to Strawberry Square. Serving both the workforce and residential populations here in the City, this location will add a very convenient branch to the YMCA lineup of Central PA locations,” said Brad Jones, President & CEO of Harristown (owner of Strawberry Square).
