A retail space on South Third Street in Harrisburg is being renovated to house a vintage clothing store. Harristown Enterpises Inc., the nonprofit owner of nearby Strawberry Square has announced it’s renovating the first floor of its property at 11 S. Third St.

The Midtown Dandy & Stash Vintage, a vintage clothing store is expected to open in the fall in the 700-square-foot space. The Midtown Dandy & Stash Vintage, brings together two online operations, one that specializes in vintage and second hand clothing for men, and the other that specializes in vintage unisex and women’s clothing.

Andrew Kintzi, owner of The Midtown Dandy and Anela Bence Selkowitz, owner of Stash Vintage, will combine their two online companies into the The midtown Dandy & Stash Vintage.

The Midtown Dandy is a vintage and second hand clothing and accessories store specifically for men. Stash is a vintage shop specializing in unisex and women’s clothing. The store was previously known as Stash Collective and was located in spaces on North Street and Walnut Street.

Renovations to the storefront location will be completed by Harrisburg Property Services, Harristown’s affiliate construction company.

The store is part of an area that includes a number of Harristown’s apartments. The apartments which are in a number of restored buildings are called SoMa on Third. A Harristown affiliate owns eight buildings between 11 and 29 S. Third St. All of the apartments, more than 30, are fully leased and occupied on the two blocks at SoMa on Third and also at another Harristown apartment complex located at 18-22 S. Third St.
